Edel & Desmond’s Elegant Wedding at Florence Court & Hotel Kilmore
Edel and Desmond, What a wonderful couple! These two celebrated their beautiful wedding in County Fermanagh. Surrounded by stunning scenery, heartfelt moments, and the people they love most.
The day started with the most gorgeous weather, a rare but welcome treat for this part of the world! After their ceremony, we made our way to the incredible Florence Court Estate for portraits. It’s one of my favourite places for a day out, and it did not disappoint.
A Romantic Stroll Through Florence Court
Edel and Desmond took their time wandering through the lush grounds. They soaked in every quiet moment together before the celebrations kicked off. The light was just perfect, filtering softly through the trees as they walked hand-in-hand, completely in their own little world.
One of the most special moments of the day was inside the greenhouse at Florence Court. The light streamed through the glass, casting a gentle glow around them, while the rich greenery made the perfect natural backdrop. It felt so peaceful, intimate, and romantic. It was like a little hidden gem of the day.
Celebrations at Hotel Kilmore
After their portraits, it was time to celebrate! Edel and Desmond’s wedding reception was held at Hotel Kilmore, just outside Cavan town. The atmosphere was lively from the moment guests arrived. Drinks were flowing, laughter was filling the room, and some brilliant, heartfelt speeches that had everyone both laughing and tearing up in equal measure.
Their wedding cake was a real showstopper. It was a two-tier design adorned with pearls and topped with their names, adding a touch of classic elegance to the evening.
Dancing the Night Away
The night ended in true Irish wedding style. With plenty of jiving and lively dancing, hosted by the brilliant Power Struggle band. They truly raised the roof and gave Edel and Desmond the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.
Looking back, it was such a joy to capture their wedding. Edel and Desmond’s day was filled with love, laughter, and so many beautiful little moments.
