Kelly & Josh’s Romantic Wedding at Lough Erne Resort
Kelly and Josh, what can I say! This incredible couple celebrated their dream wedding at the breathtaking Lough Erne Resort in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Their love story first crossed my lens during their snowy engagement video session—yes, you read that right! A few inches of snow in March made for a magical and unique engagement shoot, setting the tone for the romance and fun that would follow on their wedding day in August.
Despite it being a summer wedding in Fermanagh, the weather brought a mix of sunshine and rain, but nothing could dampen the joy and excitement of the day. Their ceremony took place in the elegant Ross Suite, which boasts panoramic views of the stunning Lough Erne lake, creating the perfect backdrop.
A Unique Wedding Ceremony: Sand Blending Ritual
One of the most personal touches of Kelly and Josh’s wedding was their sand blending ceremony. Each of them brought sand from a beach that held special memories, and during the ceremony, they combined the two into one jar. It symbolised their union in the most meaningful way.
Lively Celebrations & Golden Hour Wedding Portraits
After the heartfelt ceremony, the couple enjoyed a fun-filled wedding reception with live music, flowing drinks, and laughter shared with family and friends. In true Irish wedding fashion, the weather played along. When the clouds cleared, we seized the opportunity to capture some stunning wedding portraits with the breathtaking lake views.
One of my favorite moments of the day? Golden hour wedding videography! After the speeches and a delicious wedding meal, I stole Kelly and Josh away for a few moments to capture romantic sunset wedding footage. And wow, was it worth it!
