About Cruising Creative

Hi there, I’m Sophie, and I’m thrilled you’ve dropped by Cruising Creative. Let me give you a glimpse into my world!

I’m currently calling Co. Fermanagh home, living on my cosy 60ft narrowboat called Qisma with my husband, Josh. It’s been over three years of full-time boat life, and let me tell you, we’ve cherished every moment, from the highs to the occasional bumps in the road (or water in our case!).

I grew up in Co. Armagh most of my life before my journey led me to Staffordshire for university, where I studied CGI & Visual Effects. That experience honed my skills in camera work, composition, and design, and even though I didn’t end up in the VFX industry, those skills have served me well in my freelance work.

With over six years of marketing experience under my belt, I’ve recently embarked on a new adventure in the Wedding Videography industry. It’s an exciting step, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me!
