Videography FAQs
What are your package options?
I offer 3 main packages for wedding videography, you can find my packages as well as additional add-ons in the ‘Wedding Packages’ page here.
Do I get the full ceremony and speeches in the package?
As full ceremony videos aren’t as popular as they used to be, I don’t have them in my main packages. However, I do have them as an option in the add-ons, if this was something you were really looking for. In packages 1 & 2, you will receive the full speeches video as part of our offering along with your highlights video and sneak peek.
Please note that I do try to add some speeches/ceremony readings throughout your highlight video to make it more personal.
How long will it take to get the video after my wedding day?
I tend to work around 4-8 weeks for delivery of your wedding video, it can vary based on the time of year! You will receive your sneak peek video a few days after your wedding to enjoy almost immediately.
Do you add drone footage to the videos?
I try my very best to take drone shots on the day of your wedding. Drone footage is very dependent on the weather conditions on the day. If I am able to capture footage, I do try to add it to your video.
Do you add music to your videos?
Yes! I have licenced (royalty-free) music that I add throughout your wedding video. The music choices are usually dependent on the vibes from the day, you as a couple and how your overall footage pans out.
Do you record ceremony and speeches and add them to the video?
I record as much as I can of the ceremony and then all of the speeches. Your highlights video will have little snippets of audio from your wedding throughout. You can find an example here.
How do I receive my wedding video?
If you have chosen package 1, I will send your wedding highlights video as well as your sneak peek video via an online platform.
For package 2, I send your wedding highlights video as well as your sneak peek video via a branded USB sent to your chosen address.
If you want to have add-ons such as the full speeches or a longer highlights video, I will send these via USB.
Am I able to get the RAW footage after the wedding?
I give RAW footage to couples on the very rare occasion. Usually, if couples have a video/editing background and want to create a video of their own, I can accommodate this at an additional cost.
The reason why I don’t share ‘RAW’ footage after the wedding is my footage is captured using S-Log3 so, you will need a LUT in an editing program (Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) to edit this properly.
Do I need to provide you with food on the wedding day?
If possible, yes! When working a full day of your wedding, I would greatly appreciate a hot meal (bar food is completely fine!) to keep me going.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am! This has been a question I have received before but thankfully yes, I am covered for public liability, equipment damage and personal accident.
Where are you based?
I’m based in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. But I do travel outside of Fermanagh often for weddings! Travel fees may apply depending on how far away your venue is.
I'm ready to book you as my wedding videographer! What do I need to do now?
To finalise your date, I ask for a 20% deposit upfront followed by the remainder of your package price 2 weeks before your wedding date. Payments are usually made by bank transfer but other payment options are available if you are based outside of the UK/Ireland. Along with your invoice, I will send you a wedding contract and a questionnaire. The contract is signed digitally at the same time the deposit is paid. The wedding questionnaire isn’t required to be filled out straight away, only once you know all the finer details of your day!
What happens after I have paid the deposit and signed the wedding contract and questionnaire?
Now it is time to relax! Don’t hesistate to get in touch between the booking and the wedding day, I am here to give you advice, answer questions and share my wedding tips! I usually get in touch with you around 4-6 weeks before the wedding day, just to chat over everything and get an idea of the running order of the day.
